Help Us Save A Young Girl From Tragic Injustice
Sarah*, an albino from Central Africa, was killed and her organs harvested for African witchcraft purposes. Now, her albino sister, Hope*, is fleeing. We, Kimberly and Tonya, are going to Uganda on Wednesday to meet her at a refugee camp and help her gain asylum*. Immediate financial help and prayers are needed*. Read more… * * *Sarah* During December 2010 Sarah was groomed by a boy in the village where she lives. He deceived her by claiming that he loved her and wanted to marry her. Shortly before Christmas, he told Sarah he wanted to take her to buy some new clothes for her birthday. Hope believed him and went with the boy. She was drugged. At this point, two other boys from the same village got involved. They took Sarah and gave her to a third party, who the police are searching for. Sarah has not been seen since. The boys have since been found and interrogated by local police. They alleged that they were paid $100 US each for their involvement. It is rumoured that both Sarah’s body and Hope’s are worth $5000 US each on the open market. On Friday, January 14 2011, it was reported that Sarah had been killed, and her body harvested for various body parts to be sold. Furthermore, it has been reported that she was ‘hung out to dry’ so that they can use the skin and bone to be crushed into a powder for the witch doctors to use. *Hope* Her sister, Hope, has been guarded by her family in Central Africa… literally, with machetes. She, along with family members, will this week make the journey from their village to the United Nations Human Rights Commission on Refugees in Central Africa. Her brother, who resides in near the headquarters, will help her once she arrives in the city to reach the UNHCR. Organ Harvesting for ritual purposes in Africa, has been classified as human trafficking by the United Nations. That’s where Justice Acts comes in. We’re needed to walk side by side with her and her young son and push the paperwork, interviews, etc. through to get her and her son special protection from the UN and asylum in an undisclosed country, where she has a sister and sponsors willing to fly her and her son over and take care of them. The majority of Justice ACT’s limited funding is going to our safe house, which is opening this month. So, this trip will be coming out of our own pockets. Tonya and I are trying to raise $3000 US overnight. If you could give toward our airfare, on the ground costs, and expenses incurred on behalf of Hope and her son, our albino refugee, it would be immensely appreciated. ($1500 x 2 –Flying within Africa is as expensive as it is inconvenient.) Let’s save a girl from a horror story of injustice. *Give-on-line (tax deductible) * *Go to **www.justiceacts.org* * and click donate.* *Under purpose: Write Albino Rescue.* *Please email us at **tonya@justiceacts.org*
* to let us know of your donation.* * * * * * * > -
Fundraising for the Business As Mission school in Thailand
It has been quite a year! God has done so much so quickly, and He is still going! This next six months are going to be a season of walking out in faith. I am hoping to do a YWAM (Youth With A Mission) school in Thailand that I think will best equip me for what God has in store. As some may now know I am heading up the international side of Justice ACTs, but in February and March I would like to do this school because I feel like God has some things in store and I want to be a good steward of that and prepare myself. If you would like to be involved in helping me fundraise, or are willing to commit to prayer please let me know at KimberlyMiddlebrooks@JusticeACTs.org Blessings and love from Cape Town JusticeACTs.org

Research and Grants
Would anyone in the States be willing to help us as Justice ACTs? We need help researching grants for several different counter trafficking projects. This would be something you could do to serve from home. If you are interested please email me at KimberlyMiddlebrooks@JusticeACTs.org

6 days till Eastern Europe
God has been amazingly faithful, promising us incredible fruit left and right. We are partnering with World Evangelical Alliance, Salvation Army, and YWAM. And as we gear up (literally searching everywhere for warm things) to go, we would really appreciate prayer for our trip.

In need of a car
Since arriving in Cape Town over a year ago, I knew I would need a car. However, the time was never right, and I was constantly on the go and unable to really look, plus the fact that cars here are incredibly expensive as everything is imported down from other parts of the world. Now, someone who also works with YWAM is in need of selling their car, and I would love to get it. The price for this car is (in US Dollars) $5,715. I realize this is a huge amount of money, but I would ask that you would pray with me if this is the car I should aim to get and if not that I would be able to find one soon, as many of my ministries require me to be out around the city, and in sketch areas all times of the night. If you would like to help in anyway towards this car please let me know at KimberlyMiddlebrooks@gmail.com Thanks so much everyone!

Back In Cape Town South Africa
Back in Cape Town after 5 weeks of furlough. Enjoying catching up with everyone and everything, while preparing to leave in about 4 1/2 weeks to Easter Europe for a scouting trip with Justice Mobilize. We are looking into areas with the most desperate need (and castles). We will be there for 5 weeks working in 6 countries: Germany, Czech, Moldova, Romania, Ukraine, and potentially Netherlands. These articles will give you a good idea of what we are coming up against. http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/programmes/crossing_continents/6542385.stm http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/europe/4208194.stm Appreciate all of your prayers!

Leticia’s Story
Leticia grew up in a poor community surrounding Cape Town. Her parents where alcoholic, and when she was 9 years old, her dad murdered her mom.Social services moved Leticia and her brother to a foster family. Life was not easy there; she was used as a slave and was neglected most of the time.
At the age of 12, after spending another night outside in the cold, she decided to leave and find a better life in another community she had become familiar with. She’s been living on the street now for 9 years. Very soon, prostitution & drug usebecame her norm in an effort to survive and cope with life on the street . At one point, Leticia accepted a job with a man in Cape Town, and found herself locked in a house with other girls who had been sold into prostitution. She managed to escape.
Today, Leticia is on a new journey and really wants to see change in her life! Since February, Leticia has been working at a coffee shop under our supervision. She’s regularly attending counseling and Bible study. We are now helping her to apply to do a Disciple Training School (YWAM 6 month program) which will begin in July. We have already noticed a big transformation in her life, but know that Leticia needs to be totally removed from her street life to really be free of all the negative and destructive influences of her past.
Leticia’s story is so common. It is classic Human Trafficking. Exploiting the desperation of poverty stricken people, tricking them into thinking they have finally had their “big break” and then are are sold into slave like conditions, in Leticias case sex slavery. Leticia has told me when we were having coffee a few weeks ago that her heart is for small children, and that is she can some day work with them she would be really happy.
Cost for DTS (Disipleship Training School): 7990 rands ($1,140) for the 3 months lecture phase only. The outreach costs will depend on the location, but can also be around 8000 rands ($1,115). If you have any questions, or feel like this is something you would like to give to, please email me at KimberlyMiddlebrooks@JusticeACTS.org
